Downzo is an independent web application developed and maintained by Team Gyata. Downzo is NOT affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with Meta Platforms, Inc. (Instagram, Facebook), Google LLC / Alphabet Inc. (YouTube), Reddit, Inc., Snap Inc. (Snapchat), ByteDance Ltd. (TikTok), or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates.
1. Trademark Attribution & Nominative Fair Use
The names "Instagram", "Facebook", "YouTube", "Reddit", "Snapchat", "TikTok", as well as related platform names, icons, marks, emblems, and logos are registered trademarks of their respective legal owners.
Any reference to these third-party trademarks on the Downzo website is made strictly under the doctrine of nominative fair use to describe the technical compatibility of our web tool with publicly available media URLs from those respective platforms. Downzo does not claim any ownership, partnership, or sponsorship rights over these trademarks.
2. Personal Archiving & Fair Use Doctrine
Downzo is created and provided solely for lawful, personal, non-commercial use, educational study, private backup, and commentary under the Fair Use provisions of the United States Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 107) and equivalent international copyright laws.
Downzo does not encourage, facilitate, or condone the unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, broadcasting, resale, or commercial exploitation of copyrighted materials. Users must seek appropriate authorization from content owners before utilizing saved media for anything other than personal, private offline consumption.
3. Zero Media Hosting & Intermediary Technical Function
Downzo does not host, store, mirror, or index any video files, reels, images, or audio tracks on its servers. All media resolved through Downzo is delivered directly from the original host servers and content delivery networks (CDNs) to the user's client browser.
Downzo serves solely as a client-side facilitation interface that extracts direct public media links upon user request. We maintain no database or log of downloaded items or user browsing history.
4. User Responsibility & Compliance With Local Laws
As an end user of Downzo, you agree that you are solely responsible for verifying the legal status of any content you download and ensuring that your use complies with all applicable national, federal, and local copyright laws, intellectual property statutes, and terms of service of the respective third-party platforms.
Downzo and its developers (Team Gyata) disclaim all liability for any misuse of the tool or any copyright infringement committed by end users.
5. "As Is" Warranty & Limitation of Liability
Downzo is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
In no event shall Team Gyata or Downzo be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use this website or any media processed through it.
